CHPC is a Managed Service Provider (MSP) dedicated to delivering outstanding IT support to our clients. We are currently seeking a skilled and customer-focused Helpdesk Support Technician to join our dynamic team. If you have a strong background in providing remote IT support, troubleshooting technical issues, and delivering exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues via phone, email, and remote access tools.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot a wide range of technical problems, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Install, configure, and update operating systems, software applications, and drivers as needed.
  • Assist clients with setting up and configuring workstations, printers, and other peripheral devices.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of support requests, solutions provided, and client interactions in the ticketing system.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate technical teams, ensuring a smooth handoff and clear communication.
  • Offer clear and concise guidance to clients, helping them understand and resolve their technical issues.
  • Stay current with industry trends, software updates, and new technologies to provide the best support possible.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Helpdesk Support Technician or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of operating systems, software applications, and networking fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues remotely.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to manage multiple support requests efficiently and prioritize tasks.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to providing high-quality support.
  • Technical certifications (e.g., A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
